“Edelbrock’s partnership with Musi Racing Engines through the Edelbrock Race Center shows our commitment to developing innovative products through technological development,” Edelbrock Group Vice President of Marketing Mark Campbell stated. “Pat Musi’s expertise and reputation for experimentation in building race-winning engines has resulted in the creation of some outstanding new products from the Edelbrock Race Center. We are thrilled to continue this productive partnership again for 2024.”

The Musi/Edelbrock partnership began 20 years ago when industry pioneers Vic Edelbrock and Pat Musi developed the first 555ci prototype. This engine, known today as the Edelbrock-Musi 555 Crate Engine, has continually been one of Edelbrock’s most in-demand and high-performing crate engines. Additionally, many of the Edelbrock CNC-ported big-block Chevrolet heads and intakes are developed and distributed out of Mooresville.

“We’re proud of the products that have come out of this collaboration with Edelbrock,” Pat Musi said. “We have a lot of momentum on the racing and engine-building programs, and we’re looking forward to finding more ways to capitalize on having the state-of-the-art Edelbrock Race Center within our walls.”

Pat Musi Racing Engines provides sportsman engines backed by a Pro Mod lineage. They manage every aspect of the engine, from crafting in-house manifolds to designing custom cylinder heads. All Edelbrock racing cylinder heads are machined in the Centroid 5-axis CNC in the Edelbrock Race Center located within the Musi facility. Both programs continue to be at the forefront of cutting-edge technology and development within drag racing, making this continued partnership a perfect fit.
