Edelbrock Group’s New Booth @ #PRI2021

Just one week after the wrap of the 2021 Performance Racing Industry Trade Show (PRI) in Indianapolis, IN., people are are still talking about this year’s amazing show. Being back in-person was a really exciting time for exhibitors and visitors alike. It seemed to produce a palpable energy that has had people talking all week long.

“After nearly two years apart, our industry was eager to come together under one roof at the 2021 PRI Show,” said Karin Davidson, PRI Trade Show director. “The special programs and features added this year created an environment conducive to business that complemented the innovation and technology on display.” For our team, being able to present the new unified booth, messaging, team and product offerings was just icing on the cake.

The new Edelbrock Group booth is set up and ready for first-day visitors.

PRI is all about seeing the people, making the connections, learning/teaching about the latest trends, and seeing what new products are heading to the market. Everyone from racers to team managers are at this show.

“Our business is built on personal relationships with engine builders and racers. There is no better place than the PRI Show to create and foster those relationships,” said Chris Douglas, Edelbrock Group’s Chief Commercial Officer. “Everything about business has been disrupted over the last 18 months, but the one constant is that this industry is a ‘people business.’ So after two years, we couldn’t be more excited to get back in front of our customers in Indianapolis.”

We spotted this gasser sporting the old school Competition Cams logo.

Walking the show has always been one of the perks of being on the PRI event team. Seeing our brands represented in various ways is always fun, like this retro COMP Cams logo spotted on Adam & Mike Lowhorn’s ‘Rod Slinger’ in the Southeast Gassers booth (above). Other perks include, in-booth celebrity spotting’s, like famous Duke’s of Hazard actor, John Schneider (below).

John Schneider is known for his love of racing, both on and off the screen.

Speaking of celebrities’, Farmtruck and Azn from Street Outlaws, stopped by on day one to check out the new booth and bring awareness to our recruiting efforts 🙂

Do you think they should apply?

Lizzy and Pat Musi also spent time in the booth showing off Lizzy’s hot 68′ Camero, Norma Jeane”, featured in Street Outlaws’ Gone Girl. Norma Jeane is equipped with Edelbrock’s 555 Musi Crate Engine and the all-new VRS-4150 Race & Performance Carburetor, debuted at this year’s SEMA show.

That’s right a 555 cubic inch engine.

Of course, no PRI show is complete without a visit from our long time friend and customer, Clay Milliken, as well as, Amanda and Branden Sorensen from Formula Drift and many others.

Clay Millican and Pat Musi check out some products.
Formula Drift in the booth.

Without a doubt, the amount of support for the racing industry is undeniable, and reaches people of all ages, from all over the country. That’s why PRI is so magical for bringing everyone together in one place to exchange ideas.

We are very proud of the Edelbrock team for their hard work at the finals!

The Hot Rodders of Tomorrow held the finals during the PRI show, and we’re so proud of the Edelbrock sponsored team for making it through 21 grueling rounds and placing 11th overall!

In addition to great guests, we had some incredible new products in the booth this year. The most notable being our VRS-4150 Race & Performance Carburetor (as seen on the Lizzy Musi car above), COMP Cams Evolution Lifters and the new Prototype 1100HP Supercharged 427 Cubic Inch LS Engine (below) that boasts better horsepower numbers than another recently released high profile crate engine 😉 😉
